Issue with Strong SRT 5011 TNT Decoder

Hello,

I bought a TNT decoder from the brand Strong, model SRT 5011. When I start the initialization, I get the following message "Antenna power overload - Turn off the decoder - Check the antenna." The solution to this message is not in the user manual.

Does anyone have the solution or any ideas on the matter?

For your antenna overload issue, simply go into the menu, then installation, next system configuration, and finally antenna power, and there you need to select off.

Thank you for the information, it really took a "big" thorn out of my side! I was starting to lose it! Now I have a problem with the VCR/DVD that doesn't read the recordings, but I'll figure it out (maybe a coaxial cable from the TO TV output to the VCR antenna input and from the VCR antenna output to the TV antenna input?

I have the same problem as you, the only issue is that my antenna is indoors and if I switch off the DTT, I only have 6 channels (besides the terrestrial channels)?

Have you found a solution?

I installed a Strong 5011 TNT decoder on a television a few months ago and everything was fine. This morning, I acquired a TV with built-in TNT, so I installed the decoder on another television... automatic channel installation and there, I'm missing lots of channels like TF1, France 2, France 3, etc. Can anyone give me information?

Hello

I have a Strong 5011 decoder that was working very well.

For the past two days, I no longer have TF1, Channel 10, and Channel 12.

Does anyone have a solution?

Good evening. So, my brother gave me his TNT decoder SRT 5120 today. It worked perfectly at his place. I plug it in at mine and to my surprise, there’s no signal and therefore it can't find any channels, of course. Yet, I have connected the terrestrial antenna to the IN input properly. I don’t understand; I think I’ve tried everything. I even reset it to factory settings, but nothing works. My antenna cable works perfectly since when I connect it directly to the TV socket, I have excellent reception. So, if someone could help me, thanks in advance.

I had the same problem. The cause has been described above, but if we can't do anything other than turn it off and on again, only to end up with the same message every time ... not great :-(
I managed to solve it by turning the decoder back on after --unplugging-- the antenna :-)
Then go to the menu to cancel the antenna power option. And then plug everything back in :-)

Hello

I have a STRONG 5011 TNT decoder. I'm having an issue when I watch the series CSI. I receive it in the original version with subtitles. I have to switch back to the TV to watch it in French. Is there a setting that would allow me to watch it in French via TNT? Is it a software issue? Can someone help me?

Not a very nice approach: instead of giving the number of your hotline where we will be charged full price, why not take a few minutes to provide solutions on this site... That would be proof of quality and seriousness from your company... I have the same problem as Rulio (message from September 13th) and there's no way to get information from the head office in Issy-les-Moulineaux, which redirects to the hotline at "50,000 dollars" a minute!!! It’s well known that customer retention relies on good customer service... We will draw the necessary conclusions... Have a good day too!!!

- FIRST ISSUE
freezes on a channel, have to unplug and plug back in for it to work again

- SECOND ISSUE
SWITCHES THE TVC FROM EXT (peritel) TO TV (antenna reception)

Hello, here is the problem following a power outage: it restarts by itself (green light on) and indicates boot then dnld and loot, then dooo up to do99 and f04 up to afb03. I can't even turn it off except by the switch at the back of the device. I would also like to know how long the card we insert is valid, as it only works for TNT (the device is still under warranty). having installed this digital terrestrial decoder today which gives me a very nice image with just an indoor antenna, I have a problem regarding the use of the remote control. Is it normal to have to use the television remote to turn it on?

Hi, it happened to me before. It's the power supply for an indoor antenna that is activated. So at startup, you need to choose either before installation or after in the setup; antenna power supply should be set to off since the TNT is probably connected to an outdoor antenna. That's it, bye.

Phew!! It's working now!! Just before the match between France and Argentina.... In hindsight, I think if it hadn't worked for the match, it wouldn't have been a tragedy, hehehe!!

in the decoder's configuration menu, simply choose "initial configuration" and the channel installation procedure will restart, and the question of choosing the regional channel will be asked again. Best regards, AD

Another solution to access all FR3 channels and not just one!

Procedure:
Reset the receiver again. - You will obtain the 19 TNT channels. - Do not select any FR3 regions, press OK. - Enter the parental code. - Store the ASTRA channels, wait. - Store the TNTSAT channels again via the menu. The 24 new FR3 channels will be found from position 20 to position 43.

Not bad your advice for resetting the demo except that when you turn it off you lose the memorization of the regional channels and you have to restart the whole process, hello the work!

or the Sagem 91 in HD (high definition image reception if the chosen TV channel broadcasts in HD and of course if you have an HD TV)
