Record PAL on a SECAM cassette?

Hello,
I recently received a video cassette in SECAM format.
But my VCR only takes PAL format... I therefore have a black and white image.
I would like to know: if I rerecord on the cassette with my PAL VCR, will I then be able to read a color video? And if I cannot do that, can I make my VCR multizone?

Thank you,

yes indeed the video player must be PAL/SECAM when it comes to the second tape recorder to record, make sure it is equipped with an (internal) transcoder, otherwise playback will keep the SECAM standard
depending on the age of your player you may see if it has not an internal conversion that is to be activated
as for the multi-track (K7) magneto, there is no such thing (in the sense of dezoned as for DVD players)
