Hello,
I recently bought the TOSHIBA Gigashot 40 gb A40FE camcorder, the problem is that when I try to play the videos on my PC, they are all segmented, but I would like to play them as a single video. Since I lost the software CD, I would like to know which software to use and where I could download it.
Thank you in advance. :)

Hello, to do it right when you ask a question, it's always best to include your computer configuration. We don't give the same answer if you have a Mac or a PC, if you're on XP or on Seven.
The new camcorders with cards require a powerful computer. You need to transfer your files, which come in multiple scenes and thumbnails, so you need video editing software and to get familiar with editing.

The answer is short
I copy this text as a preamble when necessary, don't ignore my advice, make an effort and respond:
How to know the power of your computer which is "essential" for HD editing of the new indigestible video formats
so always provide the "configuration" of your computer:
The type of OS: Windows XP, Seven, 8 or Mac, 32 or 64 bits
the type of processor, e.g. quad core 2500k
RAM (4GB, 8GB)
for this go to "Control Panel", "System and Security" and "System"
the hard drive capacity in GB and its speed (5400 or 7200 RPM)
for this click on 'C Drive', right-click, "Properties"
the type of graphics card, go to:
"Device Manager"
One thing, make a summary of your "config", save it in a folder and when you are asked for it, select it and paste it automatically in the post
And finally, provide the type of video equipment and others (brand, number if possible) that you are using, the export format (e.g. MPEG2, MP4) and the desired resolution (e.g. HD1920x1080) and what you expect from us as a response
