Connect a headphone + a turntable to a mini hi-fi system

Hello, I have an old AIWA XR-M99 mini hi-fi system that I still use (for CDs, FM, cassette tapes + a turntable that I have connected). I would like to add headphones to listen to music without disturbing the neighbors. However, at the back, I only see one connection available, labeled 'super woofer'. I can't find the user manual anymore: can someone tell me what this is for? Can I plug in headphones? Wired or wireless? I want to be sure before I buy one. If it's impossible, then I will buy a more modern mini-system, but only if I can connect my turntable + headphones. Thank you in advance for your advice, Anne-Laure.

Hello, the super woofer output, I think it's the "sub" output, so it's not the right output. The best thing would be to buy a mixer to connect everything^^ and the mixer has a 1/4" jack for headphones. A basic mixer costs about 50 euros there you go^^.

    Hello,

If your model matches exactly the one you specified in the message, it indeed has a headphone jack on the Amplifier unit on the front left side (Phones). If your headphones have a 3.5 mm mini-jack, you will need to purchase an adapter from 6.35 mm to 3.5 mm (for a few euros).

This point is mentioned in the user manual (which I was able to download but in English).

    Best regards.

Thank you for your response. I had focused on the connections at the back and hadn't even noticed this Phones output at the front! I will therefore get an adapter and look into wireless headsets. Best regards, Anne-Laure.

Thank you for taking the time to respond! I will therefore go check out the mixing tables. If it seems too complicated, I will invest in a more recent mini-stereo. Best regards, Anne-Laure
