Retrieve your old Firefox bookmarks

Good evening, having recently formatted my PC, I forgot to export my Mozilla bookmarks (or others)..

So is it possible to recover my bookmarks, even without the HTML file, from where the bookmarks are stored?

(I have the windows.old).

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 20.0

    Appdata is a hidden folder:
    Go to the control panel
    Folder options
    View tab
    Check: show hidden files and folders
