Screen lock blocked by letter password on Galaxy A

Help!!!!! I locked my screen with a letter password on my Samsung Galaxy Ace! So I turn on my phone, it asks me for my PIN code, which is fine, then it asks for my letter password, and here's the big problem, I can only type numbers.... It's really stupid... I'm stuck for 2 days, what should I do?????? Thank you very much!!!!

    Ouch.. So for the complete reset of the phone: Do you know what the recovery mode of Samsung phones running Android is?
