Remove password on my samsung tablet

Hello, I finally found it after so many months, because "screen lock" I couldn't find it under security, but my tablet version has this specification separately, I clicked on it, then I clicked on "locked screen" and after that it slid to no security or unlock or any, and I tried on none and it finally worked. A big thank you to you and if I want to increase the time like your suggestion, do I need to go to accessibility and screen sleep? Again, thank you so much for everything.

Hello, I tried what you suggested, but unfortunately when I go to the screen lock, it doesn't give me the option to select "none". It only asks me to enter the password. Additionally, what I don't understand is that it’s not in Security but rather in a separate place from the lock screen and I can't see anything in Security.
Had I known, I wouldn’t have set a password every time the tablet turns off; it's tedious. I thought it could be removed easily like on a computer.

To set a Password on the Samsung Tab2 - 10.1 tablet running Android:

This is for unlocking the tablet, I actually used a PIN Code.
So start by turning on the tablet
Settings\Security\Screen lock\PIN Code
Enter 4 digits, for example: 1111

You will be asked to confirm the PIN Code.
I assume it’s the same if you have a password with letters.

Restart the tablet and you will no longer be asked for a PIN Code (Password)

To remove the Password (or PIN Code) from the Samsung Tab2 - 10.1 tablet:

Go to Settings\Security\Screen lock
Then it asks for your password (twice) enter it and click OK (twice)
(OK or Next), it's a piece of cake.
The window will return and at the bottom of the page, there is None
Then (click on None)
There you go, no more Password upon opening.

Hello Odiro, I solved your problem because I was stuck too. So on your tablet go to settings > lock screen > enter your code where they will indicate it to you > then you just have to remove it or choose another one. There you go, I hope I helped you :)
