Using my phone without a SIM card

Hello,

I am reaching out today for a little problem... I just got a new cell phone. At the store, they told me that I could use my old cell phone to connect to Wi-Fi without difficulty, as well as to use the GPS function, since the phone in question is the Nuvifone A50.

When I try to turn on my phone without the SIM card, my phone starts up and asks me to enter a code... after several attempts, the phone locks up and tells me "Network locked" and to contact the provider... I called the technical support of the company, but since it is about unlocking the phone without a SIM card, the person was a bit out of solutions, other than giving me the PUK code, which did not work...

Does anyone have any idea??

Thank you very much!

Rachel

    Hello,
Normally the phone does not request a PIN code if there is no SIM card, so perhaps the code requested is just the phone's lock code.

Indeed, no PIN code if there is no SIM card.
