Hello,
Last night, I changed the resolution of my Samsung screen and boom, black screen with a small message that says "Not optimum mode. Recommended 1280x1024 60Hz".
I can't regain control, nothing works ;(
I connected my screen to my laptop thinking the problem was there, but no, the screen works perfectly.
Then I connected a new screen to my tower and the same thing happened, black screen BUT without the message...
PLEASE HELP me solve this problem.

Would you like to change the refresh rate of your screen?

Yes, and I think that's what he can't stand.

Start in safe mode and change the graphics card resolution to the recommended one.

Is your screen connected to a graphics card or to the chipset?

To change the graphics card resolution in safe mode, you can follow these steps:

    1. Start your computer and immediately begin pressing the F8 key until you see the boot options menu.
    2. Select "Safe Mode" and press Enter.
    3. Once in safe mode, right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings" or "Screen resolution."
    4. Adjust the resolution settings as needed.
    5. Click "Apply" and then "OK" to save your changes.

After making the changes, restart your computer normally.

I've been through that too, I just took out and put back my graphics card and it worked.

Where do we change the graphics card resolution in safe mode?

You can't see anything on your screen, can you?

You right-click on the desktop, then properties. And normally you have access to the basic card properties, you set a compatible mode to restart in 800X600 for example, and once validated and rebooted the PC, you change to an appropriate value.

I also removed and reinserted the graphics card.
"You can't see that your screen is showing nothing." In safe mode, it works.

    In that case, go to:
    Control Panel,
    Display,
    Adjust Resolution,
Set it back to 1280x1024 if it's done, don't change it,
    Advanced settings (Just below),
And in the Monitor tab, change the Monitor Refresh Rate to 60 hertz.
