Hello,
Please give me the solution to boot Windows XP after changing the monitor (desktop PC) and to remove the window indicating "video mode not supported." The new screen is a Samsung Syncmaster 152S.
Thanks in advance

You need to adjust your graphics card settings (display settings) -> Start/Control Panel/Display and the Settings tab.
for this screen:
- Resolution: 1024x768
- Colors: 24-bit, 16.7 million colors
- Refresh rate: 75 Hz
If you set any of the parameters higher, the screen won’t support it and will turn off. -
I can't configure it because the screen is black with a small window displaying the message "video mode not supported".
I can start Windows but after the open the screen goes black and the message drifts across the black screen.
Is it repairable?
Thanks in advance.

The simplest thing is to connect your tower to another screen to lower the settings and reconnect your new one.
If you can't start it, boot in Safe Mode (F8 at startup); here you can lower the settings to minimum and refine them after restarting Windows.
If that still doesn't work, still in Safe Mode you need to uninstall your graphics card in the Device Manager (without uninstalling the driver) and restart so that it reinstall calmly with the correct settings at Windows startup :-) -
Thank you very much for your help. I found a third screen that is compatible
Sorry to have bothered you.
Best regards
