Hello, so here’s the thing: I have a big problem because I have a W2216V monitor that currently has a 50 Hz frequency and I need to be at 60 Hz to play my PS3, but I can’t configure it! Please help me.

    Hi,

Didn't understand the report of your 50Hz 60Hz: Nothing to do with it!
How did you connect (which cable) PS3/monitor?

In fact, the screen in the settings is displayed at 50 Hz, but in order to play the PS3 and see its screen, it needs to be at 60 Hz.

I connected the two with a VGA cable and a HDMI-to-VGA adapter because the PS3 is HDMI.

Ok reset the PS3 display settings:

Turn on your console while holding the I/O button on your console and not on the controller. On startup you will hear the usual beep and after 5 seconds you will hear a second beep; at that moment you can release and you should see a menu appear to choose your new resolution.

It should work, I got this meme screen. It was connected via DVI.

Sometimes the trick needs to be tried again, sometimes you have to push, sometimes people say they did it but they do it wrong ...
