"Video Mode Not Supported" on Philips screen

So, I'm using a Philips TV as my computer screen, and I encountered a resolution problem. I accidentally set a resolution that is not supported by the computer. Now I have a black screen with "unsupported video mode" written on it.
As a result, I can't reset the correct resolution. I've tried to reset it in safe mode, changed the cable that supports the image, etc.
No success. What should I do?

I'm on Windows 7.

So, normally, when you change the resolution, there is a message that says something like:

"If the changes are correct, click on accept"

And if you don't click, and therefore don't validate the change, the PC automatically reverts to the old resolution.

So how can you validate something if you can't click on it?

Change the video modes of the TV...
Change the video port on the graphics card.
