Reset a DSi without turning it on?

Hello, I wanted to know if it is possible to completely reset a Nintendo DSi without turning it on because I lost my charger and I need to sell it, but my data is not deleted...

    There is a reset button on the back of the console ;)
    Check your console manual to see how to use it!
