Hello,
I just bought a MacBook Pro, I'm very happy with it but I just realized that when I plug in a USB drive to delete the files on it, they "disappear" (as if they were actually deleted) but still take up space. My USB drives are therefore full, and the only way to erase their content is to use a laptop with Windows (where the deleted files reappear, as if by magic).
I should also mention that I have absolutely no problem writing to these USB drives, SD cards, etc.
Do I need to format them all with a Mac? And if so, how?
Thanks in advance!

Hello,
How do you perform this deletion?
The method involves dragging the files to the trash in the dock and emptying it while the drive is still plugged in!
