Hidden files on USB drive? Solved

Hello,

I have a problem with my USB drives that I connect to my Mac: they contain items, I delete them. The drive then appears empty. However, in the info, it still shows "488 MB used" even though no files are available on it! On the other hand, if I connect it to another device (e.g., a PC or a tablet), it detects items on my drive...

What could be causing this???

In fact, the files on your key are not deleted until you empty the recycle bin, so you right-click, then move to trash, and then you empty the recycle bin.

Hello,  As guillaumealiasgros said, on MAC, when you delete items from your drive, they go into a .trash folder.  You need to empty your trash for the items to be truly deleted from your drive.   Sincerely.
