Hello,
I’m trying to reinstall Windows on a Toshiba Satellite C660-1UG but I can't boot from the USB key.
The problem is that I have no BIOS display at startup, so I'm unable to select the boot options.
I tried removing the BIOS battery located under the keyboard for a good hour or more, but there was no change.
Is it possible to reinstall the BIOS? Considering I can't boot from a USB key..

Configuration: Mac OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3) / Chrome 26.0.1410.43

    Hi

Have you tried pressing the F12 key during startup?

    See you soon

    Hi

Press F2 to enter the SETUP. Then enter your password, and if there are 3 errors, it will turn off.

    Yes, F12 does absolutely nothing.
In fact, at startup, I have a blinking white dash and then Windows directly..

If Windows starts, it means your BIOS is working fine. It's about finding the access key.

Thank you for your help! The "fast booting" option was enabled. I wasn't aware of this option, I disabled it and Windows is installing now.
