Hello, I just downloaded some videos and music, but when I try to save the files by opening the folder, it indicates that emule/incoming refers to an unavailable location. Also, I can't play the videos; I only have sound. Please, if you have a solution, let me know. Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello,
I have files that just finished downloading but I can't find them anywhere: they are neither in "completed files," nor in "incoming," nor anywhere else... How can I retrieve them?

hi everyone
the solution is simple to recover your missing emule files
first, do the following:
computer > organize > folder and search options
> view > hidden files and folders > check "show hidden files and folders"
apply
next, to find your data:
computer > local disk > users > "session name" > AppData > virtual store > programs files
and there you should find your downloads
that's it, that's all

Hello everyone.
I need help with eMule and Vista. Indeed, I installed eMule, the downloads are going fine, but the completed files are not in the incoming folder. I also noticed that the temporary files are not in the "temp" folder.
Could you give me some solutions?
Thanks in advance.

hello
I had the same problem, I did the following thing
in my documents I created a folder called movies where I put all my films
then open emule
--click on
preferences at the top right, click on my folders, there on the right completed files, click on browse and select your movies folder then ok
when your films are downloaded on emule left click and delete completed files.
then your films are directly in your documents movies folder.

Hi delph1106, your question is not really in line with the laws of your country, anyway if you want to know how to use eMule, check out this site.
But it might take some time, anyway for the videos/music you downloaded, I think it's dead because apparently eMule didn't create an Incoming folder. Are you sure you have the latest version of eMule 0.47c? Because the previous versions are not fully compatible.
You can download 0.47c
https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/web-internet/9001-emule/
If you have 0.47c, let me know ;)

Ahlala, I had the same problem.
Long live Vista :/
Otherwise, it didn't work for me when I tried copying.
So I opened Emule, went to Preferences-Folder as mentioned above.
And I selected the Incoming folder, then right-clicked, sent to, Desktop.
Woplaboum, I have my songs and my folder :)
Thank you all, I would have never found this alone :p

Bonjour, j'ai un problème avec eMule, Vista. Je n'arrive pas à ouvrir le dossier incoming quand mes musiques sont terminées.
Hello, I have a big problem with opening my downloads folder (which allows me to retrieve my various downloads via eMule and uTorrent). When I try to open it, I get a message saying "Windows has stopped working." Therefore, I am unable to recover my downloads; everything was fine before. What should I do? Thank you.
Hello, as soon as your movie or music is downloaded, you right-click and then click on cancel, you create a new document and finally you go to your recycle bin, you cut/paste to your new folder and there you go.
Hi delph1106, I'm replying a bit late to your message even though you didn't ask for a response. I think my message isn't very "legal". If you're looking for movies on eMule, go to
http://www.divxovore.com/index.php
It's a great site full of movies without any fakes.
You should also know that eMule is a community...
To download well, you need to configure it properly, go to
http://www1.emule-inside.net/?tm=1&kw=Cloud+Processing&KW1=Emule%20Dedicated%20Servers&KW2=Proxy%20Servers&KW3=Cloud%20Security&searchbox=0&domainname=0&backfill=0
It's very easy! ;)
Talk to you later!

Hi, I had the same problem under Vista. Once eMule is installed, you open it and go to preferences, folders, click on browse in completed files and you'll see your incoming folder. Personally, I copied it by right-clicking and pasted it to another location (second part of my hard drive), and it reappeared under Windows. Otherwise, you can create a new one.

It seems that all these issues are related, so I'll summarize.
When the mule (or any other P2P program) finishes its download, it ends up with lots of small pieces of file (clusters) that it groups and compiles by itself, in order to create a single clean file.
After that, it tries to save said file in a directory predefined by the user.
This directory will be called incoming by default and will be located at C:/incoming.
When eMule tells you that this directory is not accessible, it could be that your incoming directory does not exist (check with the explorer briefly), creating this folder (go to disk C:, right-click and new->folder to rename) will fix this issue.
In any case, make sure that your destination directory is not set by default on a hard drive/removable memory and don't hesitate to rename it in eMule, or even reinstall a recent version of eMule to fix certain details.
To those for whom the problem persists, hang in there :P

Hi, since the day before yesterday, I downloaded eMule and installed Service Pack 3 for Windows XP Home Edition,
and for some time now, I've been searching for files on eMule, and there, surprise, no results.
If you could help me, it would be great, thank you in advance...

I downloaded eMule 1.2 this morning and it's worse than before when I had eMule 0.49, hello download speed.
Hello, I have Linux and eMule is not compatible with Linux, so I downloaded eMule which is compatible with Linux, but after my downloads, I can't find the incoming folder (on eMule) so I don't know where my downloaded files are. Please respond quickly.
Well then, for those who have Vista (grrr) and can't find their files anywhere, I have the solution (mouhaha). Go to computer/local disk/users/admin or username/downloads/emule/incoming
In any case, that's what worked for me after an hour of searching. I was still happy xDDDD
