Reset LG DVD Player

Hello everyone,

I lost the remote control for the LG DVD VHS player (model DVS 7800). The problem is that it is locked (child safety) so that the buttons on the player are disabled. Therefore, I can no longer use the DVD player without the remote that has the special button to unlock this function. How can I reset this DVD player, please?
