OK thanks for this info, I'll give it a try tomorrow (not enough time today!). I'll let you know if it worked; in any case, a big thank you for your help and all the attention you've given! Have a good evening!

Hello ... And here I am back on the forum, which unfortunately means my problem is still not resolved (placing blocks with the right mouse click in Minecraft) ... maybe you’re still here, gg0512, with another idea to try? ... (or anyone else, any suggestions are welcome!)

I’m editing my comment right now: I just noticed that 2 other people have given me advice (thanks already to louloute and stryce!); I’ll try that and let you know what happens ...

Go to control options and check if you haven't changed the key to place the blocks.

Thank you gg0512 for your quick response!
Unfortunately, it still doesn't work... But maybe it's because I'm not very good with computers...
When you say "reboot your mouse," it means to turn it off and back on, right? ...

And remove the batteries.
Don't change them, otherwise it will turn off your light.

Reboot your mouse and then simultaneously press:
ctrl + alt + alt gr + shift + R.

I did it like that when I had the same problem as you, it worked perfectly.

Well, I think I did everything you told me, but nothing's working...
Maybe it's because I don't have an "alt gr" key, but only 2 "alt" keys instead?
Let me recap what I've done: 1 I turned off my mouse; 2 I removed the batteries; 3 I pressed the keys you mentioned simultaneously (except I don't have an "alt gr"); 4 I tried to place blocks in Minecraft... with no success...
gg0512, do you have any more advice for me?

It might be because you're switching from one game mode to another on the same map. Try creating a new map.

Maybe you are in the spawn (the spawn point) so you can't place or break blocks starting from 10 blocks I believe (this explanation only applies if you are on a public server). However, if you are in solo mode, louloute's explanation seems correct to me.
Also, it could be that you are lagging/bugging, that often happens in Minecraft :)
