I encountered the same problem in the past. The issue may stem from your graphics card. Either it has started to fail, or it is receiving too much voltage from your faulty power supply.

A faulty power supply often causes complete freezes of the PC. If that's not the case for you, I'm afraid your GPU might be reaching the end of its life.
Still, try testing with another power supply if you have one available.

If the problem persists, you can try to "save" your graphics card using the good old oven method, as explained below:

I have the same problem as you, but the stripes also appear, and I know it isn't the screen because my console is connected to my PC screen and the screen works perfectly when I use it with the latter. Does anyone have a solution?

Yes, I have the same problem: green dots appear on my screen when I play videos, most often on black textures. I changed my screen for another one not long ago, the other one didn't have this issue.
For your information, the new screen is an IIsonic, LCD, 20''
