HP C4280 Printer - Paper Jam.

I have the same problem, it's still not working, I have a paper jam, and the sheets keep rolling through continuously, if anyone has the solution, thank you very much.

I had the same problem... I followed the instructions by disassembling the left side but found nothing apparent; however, on the right side, by gently pushing the print head, which seemed stuck to the right... the message disappeared and the printer no longer displays that message.

Thank you for the advice, it worked for me. The printer was always showing a paper jam, so I lightly pressed on the transparent roller on the left, and it's working again.

Hello, and especially thank you for the tip! I just dismantled the left side of the C4280 and oh miracle everything works again by simply pressing on all the rollers!!!!

Thank you for your help. The problem persists and is likely due to another cause since there has never been any "paper jam". This defect appeared when I powered on the printer as soon as I wanted to use it. On the forum, I read that it could be a breakage of a part inside, but after inspection, I found no debris! Hence my question, and I thank you for answering it.
P.S. I have still informed HP. I am awaiting their response, but I don't have much hope...especially since the machine is no longer under warranty (2 years).

Hello. Since June, I disassembled this C4280; the paper jam was due to the breakage of the small black plastic piece (4 mm). I created a piece out of aluminum, drilled it, and glued it with specific glue (which dissolves hard plastic), and since then, it has been working. The repair was difficult, and I also fixed my son-in-law's machine with the same defect (unfortunately very common).

Hello. I'm responding to (PAPYLI) the small black plastic piece 1 mm by 3 mm long falls into the ink cartridge receiver and gets stuck inside, which means it can't be found in either of the two trays below the cartridges. There is a solution, but it's very difficult to implement unless you're a good handyman. I previously explained. I have a photo of the repair, but I don't know how to send it to you. (hp 4280)

Edit: After several unsuccessful copying attempts, I miraculously managed to print a test page (by pressing Cancel and Color Copy keys simultaneously). Unfortunately, I couldn't replicate this printout with the same symptoms: the sheet got jammed halfway and displayed the message: "jam to clear ok" (ok at the Color Copy button). If I press ok, the sheet comes out without printing.
