AMD HDMI Output not connected, no sound.

the HDMI output for sound is only active if you have a screen with built-in speakers, otherwise it's the normal jack output that is used.

In the sound icon of the control panel, you need to activate the "Realtek speakers" output.
If you don't see it, right-click with your mouse and you have options to show the devices.

In this image, the HDMI output is activated, so it's not good for you, right-click on the "Realtek speakers" icon and select "Set as default."

Your issue arises from the fact that the Realtek HDMI Audio sound is from the motherboard driver - which means that in the motherboard driver pack there is a driver for HDMI which may be present on your motherboard.

If you are using the HDMI output from the graphics card, it is the HDMI AUDIO driver of that card that you need to install, and in this case, it is normal for the Realtek HDMI audio driver to be disabled since no HDMI cable is connected to the motherboard.

In my case, I had the same issue; I reinstalled the AMD HD driver ensuring to check the HDMI AUDIO driver, and at that point, I was finally able to activate the sound via the HDMI output of the graphics card and not that of the motherboard!!

Well, the problem hasn't improved; it no longer detects the AMD and considers my speakers as not plugged in. Obviously, I won't get any response, but oh well...

Try to restore it to an earlier date; it works 90% of the time when Windows crashes.

and if you delete the device?
right-click on it in the device manager and "delete"
then, remove what remains via "programs and features"
restart your PC, and let Windows reinstall it.

I have followed your advice, (the restoration is too far away...), the problem is not due to a software issue, but rather a technical one. What I mean is that the system itself is disconnected, but nothing is unplugged, so it must come from the motherboard or other connections - I don't know much about it, so I'm just guessing - the problem seems unsolvable, this PC will become my external hard drive...

If it helps; you need to go to the graphics card control panel and enable audio output (yes, the HDMI output is managed by the graphics card, including sound).
For NVidia, it's in the "Display -> Digital Sound Configuration" tab.
