Fraps isn’t recording my mic...

Hello everyone. I bought a microphone that's fairly expensive but Fraps detects it, I even specified in the settings that it should record my voice. However, when I listen to the recording, I hear a very light crackling instead of my voice.
The microphone works very well with Skype / Audition / Vegas...
It is not on mute because the crackling intensifies as I speak louder.
It's a ST-USB Lanen by Prodipe
