Hello,
I didn’t find an answer that matches my issue, so I’m taking the liberty of starting a new thread.
I’m having a problem with my PS3 controller: the right joystick no longer responds, neither in-game nor in the menus, while all the other buttons continue to work.
The issue isn’t mechanical; the fault occurred during a game — or almost: character dead, game relaunched… not in the middle of a match — and I’m not a furious controller thrower or a coffee spill accident. I thought it was the controller itself and I plugged in a USB Logitech RumblePad controller, which the PS3 recognizes perfectly… except the right joystick remains unresponsive.
So I think the problem is more at the software level… but I don’t really know how to fix it.
Has anyone ever encountered this kind of issue, or does anyone have an idea of how to resolve it?
Thanks in advance

Well then...
I did a test with another game, just to be sure... And well, in another game, the right joystick works.
ahem...
I go back to the first game... the joystick doesn’t work... in the latest save, however, by taking an older save, everything is fine.
there you go - there you go...
My save was corrupted and I let myself be fooled by the stick's lack of responsiveness in the menus. -
Does it not work for all games or only for certain games?

It doesn’t work in games (only one tested) nor in the PS3 menu: only the left one and the buttons work. Since the problem also appears outside of the game, I don’t think it could be an issue of button mapping related to the game.

OMG...
"It is possible that when entering or leaving the Fort Bannister Main (west of the south gate), that your right analog stick will become unable to move your character's view. Making it harder to V.A.T.S. and kill the mercs inside."
"Il est possible qu'en entrant ou en sortant du Batiment central de Fort Bannister, entrée ouest ou sud, le stick analogique droit cesse d'activer la vue de votre personnage. Cela rend le VATS et l'élimination des mercenaires plus difficile (fallout 3)
...Tu l'as dit bouffi !
En fait, le fichier est pas vraiment "corrompu", il a juste parfaitement sauvegarder un pénible bg -
I have a similar problem but it's the axis of the right joystick that is inverted. Example: In an FPS, to look up you have to push the stick down, and if I push down, my character looks down.
If you find an article about this, add a comment and please pass me the address. -
