Hello everyone!
I’ve been having a problem since yesterday with my CastelNet router! I have a subscription with Numericable, and several computers at home, my main one being connected via Ethernet. And right now it’s the only one with internet access. The Wi-Fi indicator on my router was off, and by fiddling around in 192.168.0.1, I managed to reactivate the Wi-Fi, so I think my router is broadcasting Wi-Fi again, the light came back on and it’s working normally. Yet, from my laptop, I can't find my network, not even by searching for the network SSID; I’ve tested with other computers, same issue!
So I'm thinking it’s an internal bug with the box, but before I take it apart to check inside, or wait in line at the store, I wanted to know if anyone else has encountered this problem, or even better, solved it!!
Thanks in advance everyone!
Nico

I eventually managed to solve my problem without having to change my router!
In the end, the SSID of my network changed several times on its own (maybe some updates reset my box). I finally found it by rummaging through the available networks under a standard name (I tested all the numericable options in my building).
There you go, thanks anyway for your response!

Impeccable ! The factory reset has that effect: Regardless of the customized SSID, it resets the original SSID "NUMERICABLE-<blah>", the one marked on a label under the modem. The updates, on the other hand, are not supposed to do that, theoretically speaking: They are supposed to keep all user settings intact. But sometimes, it fails... :(</blah>
