Hello, I have a problem with my D-Link DSL-2640U modem router.
It is behaving strangely.
When I power it on, the LAN, Power, and Internet lights keep flashing. This is abnormal.
Additionally, I cannot reconfigure it using its CD.
Please help me resolve this issue.

Thank you in advance.

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 2.0.0.11

For router configuration, you can access its interface by typing 192.168.1.1 in the address bar of your browser. By default, the username and password are: admin
All buttons except the "power" button may blink. If the latter is blinking, perhaps a reset would fix this problem, I quote:

The router can be reset to the factory default settings by gently pressing the reset button with a ballpoint pen or
a paperclip, following the order below:
1. Device off, press and hold the reset button.
2. Power on.
3. Wait 5 to 7 seconds, then release the reset button.
Be careful, this operation erases all settings stored in the flash memory, including information related to your user account
and the IP settings of the local network. The device settings are restored to the default IP address 192.168.1.1; the default subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, the default management username is "admin" and the default password is also "
admin".

And here is the documentation just in case:

ftp://ftp.dlink.fr/DSL/DSL-2640B/Manuel/DSL-2640B_Manual_3.0%28FR%29.pdf

(this is not exactly the same model, but it is the one that is closest..;)
