Hello,
I received an email from Microsoft confirming that I have won €250,000. I can contact the person by phone at 00225 41415352 or by email, but after researching, I realize that it's from Côte d'Ivoire. Of course, they're asking for my name, address, etc. Do you think this is a scam? In my opinion, yes, especially since I never have any luck, but it’s true that being unemployed and receiving the minimum makes it quite tempting.
Thank you for your reply.

Hello, I just received a call from: 09.72.46.83.76; it was clearly a pre-recorded voice. The person kept saying hello as if they hadn't heard my response, then claimed it must be my answering machine and added "I'll call you back", which obviously they didn't do. Even though this number starts with 09, I'm not trying to call it back. This voice is not someone I know and sounded like it came straight from an advertisement. Out of curiosity, I even searched for this area code on http://www.indicatifs.net/ with no results. Well, now I definitely sense a scam, but where is it????

Hello! Yes, it's a scam!! They're also operating on LE BON COIN, they buy anything from you (for me it was a coffee table), they tell you they're sending you the money via Western Union. After a few emails, they say it's done and even give you a transfer code number. But before going to the post office, you must call a number that starts with 00 225... which is indeed from Côte d'Ivoire. When you call this number, they give you a key but you have to pay 99€ which is added to the price of what you're selling (so what you would supposedly get back). So it's a scam, I didn't call because I saw on various forums that it's a classic scam. Be wary of "unusual" phone numbers, they're not French!! Just a heads up!
