Connect a webcam to a projector

Hello,

I need to ensure the retransmission of a conference from one room to another with very little specialized equipment. I had thought of using a streaming system like Ustream but the internet connection isn’t sufficient...

So I thought of using:
- video source: a webcam (I also have a Panasonic cam with RCA/component output)
- audio source: a USB audio interface with a microphone

For the transmission:
- to get the webcam image directly to a PC: a USB extension cable plus a 50 m RJ45 cable
- to get the sound: likewise XLR cable or a 50 m jack if it exists and if there isn’t too much signal loss???

For the broadcast:
- a PC that receives the webcam image in VLC and broadcasts via VGA linked to a projector
- for the sound: connected to the room’s amplifier

What practical advice or better-suited solution would you suggest? What should I watch out for?

Thanks in advance

Hello, it all depends on the audio/video inputs of the projector and the outputs of the PC graphics card.
