Hello,

I have the following television:

http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/cpindex.pl?ctn=37PFL6606H/12&hlt=Link_UserManuals&mid=Link_UserManuals&scy=FR&slg=FRA

My problem is that when I turn it on, PHILIPS appears and then it turns off by itself before I have a chance to do anything. Then it turns back on and so on, the red light blinks twice and the cycle repeats, I don't know what happened, I was away from home for 3 days and when I came back the TV did this to me. I searched the manufacturer's website and found no answers, nor on other forums. I tried unplugging it and turning it back on but it doesn't change anything...

Does anyone have a solution?

The Darty technician came this morning, it was simply a matter of performing an update available on the Philips website. Since my TV wasn't displaying the screen, he unplugged it, downloaded the update onto a USB stick from his computer, then inserted the USB stick into the TV. He then plugged the TV back in while simultaneously pressing the down arrow on the remote. The screen started the update and voilà, it's working again!

Thank you very much, because since this morning, my TV kept turning on and off, and today it was impossible to find a repairman. I spent the day looking for solutions online and I came across yours this evening but the main thing is that I found your post ;-) I thus downloaded the update and proceeded as you said and as specified on the Philips website and finally my problem is resolved…! Even though I find it strange that the TV does this kind of thing to warn us of an update, a message would suffice, wouldn’t it?

Thank you very much, despite the drivers being from 2011, my problem has been solved.
Blank USB key in FAT 32 with the driver (zip folder + autorun file), USB key plugged in with the TV off, holding down the down arrow and turning the TV on. After 10 seconds, the update was completed.
