LG L1915S screen turns on & off immediately

Hello,
I found a technique on another forum that works to still use your screen. When it turns on and then becomes almost black, you just need to set the brightness to 0, turn it off and turn it back on, and it stays on. All that's left is to increase the brightness, and it works! (for how long...)
In any case, I'm happy with this tip that helps my screen and gives me more time to invest in a new one!!!

The trick didn't last long...

So I disassembled the screen, cleaned everything with a vacuum (dust), and I can roughly see where the capacitors are, but I can't figure out which one to change...

I think it's over for my screen, so if you have ideas for a new screen because I don't want to repair it, I prefer to buy a new one that's a bit more expensive and will last longer with a warranty
If you have any screen suggestions, don't hesitate (min 22", max 200€, versatile use: office work, internet, gaming, but not too recent and not a shooter, or network, a bit of photo editing and a bit of video editing, and no movie watching on the screen)

Well, I'm back because I actually cracked and got a 22"
I ordered the w220d from gr@sbill last Thursday night and received it on Monday at noon (and I took the opportunity to buy a 1TB WD Green Caviar hard drive : Large smile )
No problems, everything is fine, no dead pixels, and it’s true that without changing the settings, the colors are already much better than my lg1915, and I followed the advice from lesnumeriques by setting the OSD to reddish and it’s true that it's even better, I also lowered the brightness by 20 and the contrast by 10
I downloaded a profile from focus-numerique but I don't really understand what it's for or how to use it...

I hope my card (6600gt) will keep up in games... I will soon test as soon as I have installed my new hard drive

I have a question about connectivity, on my card and on the screen I have the choice to use VGA or DVI, will it make a difference if I use DVI (since I don't watch movies and don't play recent games) because for now I've set it to VGA?

Otherwise, I'm happy with my purchase, the stand is a bit wide in my opinion but the large screen is excellent!!!

Hello, to reply to your clarification, it tells me that it's a default of a small solder joint that has failed. When it's cold, there's no contact; when it's hot, the solder still makes contact. In electronics, that's the idea and the closest diagnosis I suppose.
