Hello,
For several days I have been getting an "error runtime 217 at 40032896", and I don't know where it comes from.
I ran "CCleaner, Revo Uninstaller", I restored the system to a point without issues, I installed "Java7 update9" and uninstalled the older versions.
I had installed a game from Microapplication (for XP and Vista) and I removed it.
The error reappears
I haven't found a valid answer that solves this problem on the forums.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 16.0

Hello,
you can always run a virus scan with Rogue Killer (https://www.luanagames.com/index.fr.html) and Malware Byte (https://fr.malwarebytes.com/
For your information: software like CCleaner, Tuneup, Revouninstaller and others are sources of problems. They clean your system but too much. Because they sometimes delete files necessary for the functioning of Windows. Hence this kind of error message.
In computing, there is always a solution.

I ran an analysis with the recommended software and found nothing to report
except that when I restart the PC, I get the same message.

Right-click on the time (bottom right of the screen), and click on "Task Manager". In the "Applications" tab, right-click on the line that represents the error message and click on "Go to process".
You will arrive in the Processes tab with a highlighted process. Right-click on it and click on "Open file location".
This way you will know which program produces this error message.
Please provide the link to this file. For example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
The problem has been resolved by following the procedure mentioned above.
It was due to the software "Glary Utilities" from the program initialize.exe.
I uninstalled this software and I no longer have the error message at startup.
Thank you for your intervention
