Hello,
I have a CANON PIXMA MP 170 printer-scanner. Everything was working very well at first. Recently, I've encountered a problem.
When I scan a document (A4 page size), the scanned image arrives on my PC "cut up" into several pieces: 1, 2, 3, or 4 pages, depending...
I went into the menu to set the paper size to A4, but the problem persists!
Thank you for your help!!!

On this model, I'm not exactly sure, but on mine, in the settings, you just need to select (for the area to scan) "the whole bed" and not let the software determine the areas where there is something to scan.
As for the lost CD, it's not a problem; you just go to the Canon website and download its content ................

I found the configuration "plateau" but I don't have the option to say "the whole plateau", so I checked the "default" box.
I just did 2 scans and it works!
I'm crossing my fingers that it lasts...
THANK YOU ALL for the advice!

Hello NATREK,
Welcome to the forum.
Have you possibly tried reinstalling the software/printer driver in question?
If you were to undertake this, there are certain rules to follow first.
Uninstall everything related to this printer, drivers, software, etc.....
Nothing regarding this printer should be present on the computer.
Clean the registry and the traces left by the uninstallation.
Disconnect the computer/printer connections.
Restart the computer.
Proceed with the reinstallation from the CD if you have it.
Only connect the printer when the procedure specifies.
