Hotmail account that no longer exists

Hello,

I'm posting to help my mother who can no longer connect to Hotmail.
We've checked the uppercase and lowercase letters, she hasn't changed her password, we followed what Hotmail suggested, which is to enter the email address to reset the password, but now, of course, we are told that this account does not exist...

She created another address but lost all her contacts and saved emails..

Can someone tell me why she no longer has access and why her account no longer exists??

    An alternative, since the account no longer exists, is to recreate it : )
    That is to say, you create a new account with the same name.
    The only thing is that you will lose your archived messages in the process.
