Hello,
I have a WTX500 Bluetooth transmitter connected to my hi-fi amplifier.
I can connect successfully and I can see it among Bluetooth devices.
However, the audio output from my PC is not good; when I play an mp3 in WMP and VLC from my PC, the sound comes from the PC speakers rather than the amplifier as expected.
After hours of searching, I understood that I need to set the PC’s audio output to the Bluetooth device and not to the PC speakers. To do this, go to Control Panel > Sound > Audio device management... But that’s where I can’t find my BT device.
I only see the PC speakers/headphones and the HDMI devices, but no Bluetooth device even though my WTX500 transmitter connected to my Hi-Fi amp is paired and connected according to the BT menu.
Could you tell me what to do to display my BT device in the Audio devices management panel please?
NB: I think this is a PC configuration problem and not a WTX500 issue because
the device works fine with iPhone, iPad, etc.
Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 16.0

I have the solution to the recognition problem of the Advance Acoustic WTX 500 device on a PC (Windows). Indeed, I struggled for a while, because on the PC (I have Windows 7) you need drivers that allow you to update your USB Bluetooth dongle and thus make the device be recognized as a headset. I had the device recognized as a headset but not recognized in the sound manager. Because that’s where everything happens, in the sound manager (Control Panel/Sound), once everything is properly configured (thanks to the PC drivers), the WTC 500 module appears in the sound settings as “Speakers/Bluetooth Audio.” Big thanks to Advance Acoustic, very responsive via their site http://www.advance-acoustic.com/fr/default/index/indexfr

Bluetooth Audio drivers are installed, active, and there are 3 in Device Manager:
- "Bluetooth Audio"
- "Bluetooth Audio."
- "Bluetooth High-Quality Audio"
But in the Sound and Devices manager, no Bluetooth Audio card appears, even though the connection with the Bluetooth adapter is OK in the Bluetooth devices menu. I therefore cannot send the computer's audio stream to a Bluetooth device connected to the HI-FI amplifier.
I found a lead about disabling SCMS-T parameters, but I can't find that menu in the Bluetooth device manager.
