Hello,
I would like to know if anyone here has managed to get a JBL Go speaker to work with a Dell laptop running Windows 7.
Here are the details: the speaker works with my smartphone. With my Windows 7 laptop, the Bluetooth connection works because the speaker is properly added to devices and printers. The issue is that it does not appear in the playback devices list, and therefore, I cannot play music through the speaker.
Is this a driver problem? Or related to AD2P and AVCR software? How can I check if they are properly installed? And if not, where can I download them?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello, I had the same connection problem between the speaker and PC and smartphone. I contacted the manufacturer who gave me the following response and it worked!
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your GO 2.
Based on the information you provided, we suggest trying the following:
To avoid any software errors, please reset the device to factory settings. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Turn on the device.
2. Press and hold the VOLUME+ and Bluetooth buttons simultaneously for at least 5 seconds until the device turns off.
3. The device is now reset.
4. Charge your JBL GO 2 to 100%.
After resetting the device, please remove the device name from your phone's Bluetooth list before reconnecting it to your device.
Please check the functionality again.
