Light stays on when I shut down the PC.

Hello, I have a Dell Vostro V131 PC that I've had for a short time. When I put it to sleep or shut it down using the Start Menu shutdown or Sleep options, the indicator lights remain on, including the Wi-Fi light and the power button. However, the hard drive isn't spinning and seems to be off except for these three lights. Can you please help me?

My configuration: Intel Celeron, Windows 7 Pro SP1, 2GB of DDR3 RAM.

I forgot to mention that to turn off the lights, I have to press and hold the power button every time.
Configuration: Mac OS X Lion (10.7.5) / Safari 6.0.1

    I have exactly the same problem since I changed my motherboard; one light stays on and my headset keeps getting power (there's always a crackling sound coming from the headphones and a LED stays lit). I can only resolve the issue by unplugging it from the back (unplugging the power supply) :/

    Hello,

    it should be checked if it says Shut Down and not Sleep in the box where we turn off the PC.

    If necessary, correct it by acting to the right of this box.

    it's completely normal :-D ......

    indeed, on high-end power supplies :yes:, even in sleep mode or when turned off (it works after turning off the PC and not directly from cold), it delivers at least 5 A on the 5V, allowing the PC to turn on with the keyboard, the mouse (network card or modem :lol:)

    it's very noticeable on my PC because a green LED stays lit on the motherboard.....

    basically, besides completely turning off the power supply, or using a crappy power supply, there's no solution.....

    Hello, first of all don't worry, I'm really pressing the stop button on the Start Menu..
    Then when I unplug it, it's not complicated but the computer stops charging..
    The only way to turn it off is to hold down the power button :/
    I restored it to before the bug but the problem persists.. I also reset the BIOS settings to default but it continues..
    I don't understand anything anymore..
