Hello,
I just acquired the Logitech MX5500 keyboard and mouse set, initially happy with this purchase... quite expensive, yet now I'm very frustrated to notice a serious issue with constant disconnections.
I recently set everything up using the USB receiver provided by Logitech.
But both the keyboard and the mouse disconnect regularly, and I have to pair them again. This shouldn't happen. My receiver is 60 cm away from the set.
Previously, I also had a Logitech keyboard and mouse that were several years old, and I never had any problems.
I tried to connect the set via Bluetooth on the computer, but every time I turn off the PC, I have to redo the entire process to reconnect.
It's incredibly annoying to be polite about it :o) to run into this kind of problem.
So, I'm out of ideas to solve this issue.
Thank you, if you have any suggestions, please share them with me.
Have a great day.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

Hello...
We should try testing this set on another machine, or change the USB port, or only plug in the mouse or only the keyboard... to narrow down the issue a bit...

Hello,
Thank you for your response.
I have changed the Logitech transmitter/receiver to a different USB port and now I no longer have random disconnections.
Thank you very much.
Best regards
