Hello,
here is my problem, I just changed the black ink cartridge, I should specify it's an original cartridge, and when I do the test print, it doesn't print black. I've done the cleaning several times and nothing changes, the black is still not printing. Do you have a solution to my problem? Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

Thank you for your reply.
I contacted Brother's help service, who had me perform an "initial purge," and it still didn't work; my black ink wasn't printing. They told me that the printhead needed to be replaced.
I did a test and set it to inkjet printing, and now it prints black, but I assume this consumes a lot of ink?? What do you think?
I also think that replacing the printhead will cost me as much as a new printer since mine is unfortunately no longer under warranty.
