I respond quite late, I don’t really have a solution to the problem but I have a trick:

- Paper jam means the sensor is activated or faulty.
- So you just need to unplug this sensor and it will restart since the sensor provides a simple on/off type information, either 0 or 1. If it is unplugged it gives 0, so the printer thinks there is no jam and works normally.

Apparently after printing you can replug the sensor and it will start again.

To unplug the sensor, open the top cover, remove the right-hand cover along its entire length (it is clipped) it is underneath the small images showing how to open and close the printer cover.

Then you will see 2 connectors unplug the smallest one at the bottom (red and black wire).

Unplug the printer for a few seconds then turn it back on and try to start a print.

If that works you can replug the sensor later.

In short, we “strangle” the sensor to see if it’s not a printer bug that memorized the paper jam even though there is none.

I have a problem with the paper tray: there is a small metal piece that grips the paper and it no longer holds. Every time I want to print, the sheet gets stuck or doesn’t pick up the paper. Where could I have it repaired? Thanks

That happened to me too, you have to look under your printer; there should be little pieces of paper stuck. Once you remove them, restart your printer and you’ll see it will work again.
