Question

Hello,   when I turn on my Asus laptop, it doesn't start; I have to turn it off with the power button and then turn it back on for it to start. It says that an acmon program is preventing Windows from starting and shutting down. This happened after automatic updates. I don't know if anyone will understand my jargon, but I think it's not advisable to turn off the computer with the power button!  I need help. I tried removing it with CCleaner Registry. It doesn't work.  help. I need your advice.  Thank you in advance, patripom.

Hello,  Start the PC by tapping F8. Launch Safe Mode, and choose a restore point from a few days ago, at least before the problem occurred (Start menu, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore) and try again.

Hi  Have you thought about trying this: acmon??  Not having heard of it before, that's the first thing I did, you might find something interesting...  -- Before asking a question: 1° The brain doesn't wear out if you use it, don't hesitate to use it! 2° Google is your friend, the search engine of CCM is too, do a search!
