Hello and HELP

Upon opening QuarkXPress, I get 2 error messages that prevent me from opening my file:
1) Cannot start the converter mswrd632 (window opens 6 times)
2) Out of memory -108

What can I do to open or recover my file?? It's super important, I had nearly finished the layout of a 30-page booklet last night and this morning, nothing!!!

Thank you very much in advance!

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

    Hello,

It doesn't seem to come from Xpress. Try to focus your research on "mswrd632": the problem might be related to it!

    Thank you
I managed to restore the converter. So I no longer have the error message "unable to start the mswrd632 converter"
BUT when opening the Xpress file, I still get the message Out of memory and therefore cannot open my file!
Do you have a solution to propose?

Try to clean up a bit with CCleaner, especially to clear your cache and all unnecessary temporary files. Otherwise, you can open your file by double-clicking on it or by opening it from Xpress. I don't remember if in Xpress preferences you can set the memory space for working!

The explanation for the error message "out of memory" can be found in the Xpress manual.

This error has several possible causes:
    - Lack of (virtual) memory to run the program
    - Damaged file, Xpress tries to open the file until the
    available memory is exhausted
    - Altered font - disable the fonts used in
the file and then proceed to replace them.

My file must be corrupted because I went around...
After crying a lot over the loss of my work, I started over! And I won't forget to make regular backups....

Look in the Xpress manual, there are also instructions to try to recover damaged files...

But of course it doesn't work in all cases... unfortunately!
