Hi, for my part, I found a solution that allows me to keep my photos in MB and convert them to 150 KB or less. I open my photo with "paint", click on "image", then on resize, and I look for the right percentage, often 50%... going back several times. For the photo to be around 150 KB, it should roughly have a size of 10x15 on the screen... one more piece of advice, only work on a copy of your original photo, that way you won't risk losing it. Then, all that's left is to save the new photo, which doesn't lose too much quality... Good luck!
Well, listen, I don't have that software in front of me.
I'm giving you a recipe that I'm sure works.
1 Download GIMP, it's open source software.
You can find it by pointing your browser (IE or Firefox) to:
https://www.gimp.org/
2 Install the software
3 Open your image
4 Click successively: image ==> Scale image
Enjoy reducing the photo
