Hello,

Although the title is not explicit, you will understand that it wasn't easy to summarize it while describing my problem:

I have a class photo from which I want to cut out each head to create individual ID photos.

However, Paint allows me to cut, but when I save the image, I end up with a small image on an A4 format instead of a "thumbnail" or "clipart" as I would like.

Can someone please tell me how I can do this?

Thank you

Configuration: Windows XP 2002 SP3
Excel 2002

    Hello,

The best option would be to use a much more efficient free software (and just as simple as Paint) that you can find here:

    -> http://www.commentcamarche.net/download/telecharger-175-photofiltre

With this software, you can crop the images you want and paste them (in two different ways).

I'm reaching out to you because in Paint, we cannot open 2 images at the same time, so it's too cumbersome to go looking for the photo, cut the head, reopen Paint, paste the head, and start again, especially since the images are not in the same directory.
So I'm going to check with Photofiltre.
But it works anyway; I just wanted to clarify. Thank you.

Well, it’s faster with Photofiltre but I can’t find the frame that allows me to cut off the head in the class photo. So I took "Polygon J", but when I go to: image -> crop, the class photo disappears and I can’t continue.

Can you tell me if there’s a setting to keep the class photo present and the heads on the side, as Transat showed https://www.cjoint.com/?BKcnTJofsPF please?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

There isn’t a “frame” made for that in PhotoFiltre, you have to do it with the rectangular selection and make selections of the same size or then crop everything afterwards: http://ww12.screenshotuploader.com ... ;-)

    Luke.

    Hi Transat,
    How are you?
My snails are drowning and it’s cold... :-((
    Best wishes.

All you have to do is duplicate the entire class photo each time you use the cropping function.
Once you've done all the cropping, take a screenshot and you'll keep both the ID photos and the entire class photo.
Good evening Luke, my snails are equipped with a diving device. I anticipated the rain.
    Best regards

    Alright! Thanks, it worked.

For your information: the version of Photofiltre is for 30 days, otherwise it is paid.
