Reduce a 3259 KB photo to 2 MB.

Question

Hello,  I need to include a car photo in a newspaper. How can I reduce it to 2 MB when it is 3259 KB?  Thank you for your advice.

What are the dimensions of this photo?

You just need to give it a "normal" size to fit it in a newspaper... 640x480 for example...

It will be much lighter....

It's not that complicated...

With a program like Paint, you can resize the photo to the desired size...

Open the image with Paint.

Menu "Image" => Stretch/Skew => set the desired size in % in the window that opens, then [Ok]

Menu "File" => Save As... And there, be sure to save as .jpg

And there you go...
