PS3 and the new YouTube app

Hello,
I have a question regarding the PS3. I tried to connect to YouTube this morning and I had to download the new application. First, I updated the console, then I downloaded the application from the Store, no problem until then. I install the application, it tells me that it's successful. Once I return to YouTube on the PS3, it tells me that I need to download the new application; which I have already done! >.< I'm not getting upset, I go back to download the application, but when it's time to install it, it tells me that an identical application is already installed.... It's going in circles a bit.
Is anyone else having the same problem or does anyone have a solution because this is getting really annoying!

      But unfortunately, enjoy the standard version while you still can!!!!
      We can't log into our YouTube account, no favorites even from our PS3, and I won't even start talking about the writing bar....
      It's real torture from Playstation!!! And no way to bypass the new app... GRRRRR

      wait it's new
      it's going to get better gradually with updates

      I remember at the beginning with VidZone
      a real nightmare

      it has improved a lot over time


      for me personally
      YouTube isn't my thing

      at worst, if I have to go there, I go on the PC
      the PS3 serves me primarily for gaming :-)

      I love my PC, I admit it, but the screen size compared to my big plasma; it's not even close xD

      Yeah, my PC has a nice 24" screen
      by the way, do you know how to connect a PC to a TV with just a cable? :-)
