Hello,
I just bought a case, a motherboard, and a processor. I salvaged the rest from my old PC. I'm currently trying to assemble it, connect everything, etc... However, on the front of my case, I have a port that ends in a 1394 cable. Despite my extensive research, I still don't know where to connect it on my motherboard. Does it connect to a USB cable slot?
I've already checked the manual, and it doesn't mention it :/

Configuration: Mac OS X / Safari 534.57.2

    hi nico59200

a firewire port never connects to a USB connector
the motherboard won't appreciate it at all
generally, it's a black 10-pin connector on the motherboard

yes, it would be good to know which motherboard you bought

    see you
no links on web pages in English, I'm already flying solo enough

My motherboard is a P8Z77-V LX and my processor is an Intel Core i5 3570k 3.4GHz.
