Does not contain any icons

Hello,

Wanting to change the icon of a shortcut, I hit a snag.

Having created an icon in .ico format, I placed it in a folder where I keep my created icons, but whenever I try to change a shortcut icon by browsing to that folder, it says "this file contains no icons" even though there are several in .ico format.

I did some research to try to solve this problem, but some posts with the same issue went unanswered, so I would at least like to provide an answer to this problem ^^

    I found the issue; before changing it to .ico, the image must be saved as BMP and not as PNG.

      Hello, I'm having the same issue, even when saving the image in BMP format before changing it to ICO.
