Hello, Following my problem with Windows 8, I switched to Ubuntu to see if there was a recovery partition. Unfortunately, I went into Gparted and created a new partition. When I restarted the computer, the BIOS (e machines) page appears and right after, there’s the message Verifying DMI pool data and the computer gets stuck from there. The problem is that I can't access the BIOS since the technician set a password.
Do you think I should tell my dad or find a software solution?
Thank you for responding because right now, I can no longer use my computer.
Thank you and have a nice day.

To resolve this Windows 7 DVD boot issue, select the Windows repair section, select the Command Options, type Bootrec.exe / FIXBOOT and press Enter, close the command prompt and select restart - everything should be fine now PS This also works for Windows Vista PS This works for Windows Vista too
an old post from 2010 so is it seven that you originally had?

Is it an "emachine"?
Ask the technician to unlock the password.
Remove the BIOS battery to see if the password gets erased.
You will stop creating multiple discussions on the same topic: you will continue on this one and wait patiently for a volunteer to respond.
Additionally, please remember to include politeness in your requests.

Otherwise, your only options left are to buy a generic Seven DVD from the brand or go to sites like Le Bon Coin to find someone willing to lend or copy the DVD for you...
No other solutions in your case, no Windows partition and no DVD...
