Hello =D,

I have a BlackBerry Curve 8520 and I would like to know how to copy my contacts from the phone memory to the SIM card as well as check how many contacts I have on that SIM card.

Thanks

Configuration: iPad / Safari 7534.48.3

Please transfer via Bluetooth to another device and copy your contacts to the SIM card or elsewhere...

Hello,

It's very simple, you go to "Address Book", you go to "Add a contact", you press the "Blackberry" button, you click on "SIM card directory", you press the "Blackberry" button and you select "Paste all into contacts".

Bye!

otherwise ONLY IF you have a Google account linked in Google Sync with your BB, you need to synchronize and then you're good to go, you can import it on another phone //// I understand that BB is dying ///

You can copy them one by one and paste them on the SIM card. I hope you don't have too many...!!! Good luck lol

To copy a contact from your contact list to your SIM card, in the contact list, click on the desired contact. Highlight a phone number.
Press the Menu key > Copy to SIM directory. Press the Menu key > Save.

Uh, excuse me, but isn't there a quicker way to transfer the contacts from the phone to the SIM card? Because doing it one by one is so :(

It is not possible to move contacts to the SIM card; however, your method does the opposite.

The solution for transferring contacts to the SIM card is on this site:

There is indeed a way via Bluetooth; you need to pair the two devices first. Then, in the Bluetooth settings of the Blackberry, select the device corresponding to the Samsung, click on the menu button, choose "transfer contacts" (I no longer have the exact wording of the option), and all the contacts from the Blackberry are transferred to the Samsung (a confirmation is requested from the Samsung side). I did it today with a BB 9900 and a Samsung Galaxy J5. I transferred 120 contacts at once.

Glad it helps. I realized that it wasn't really the topic of the discussion, but I had stumbled upon this conversation while trying to transfer my contacts. So yes, you can leave Blackberry and take your contacts with you.

Hello,
I was able to copy all my contacts to the SIM card in one go using Contacts/Settings/Copy to SIM card, but I would also like to retrieve them on my PC so that I can re-inject them if I ever need to. I have BB Blend and Link, but they do not allow me to retrieve contacts. I am connected via Bluetooth to my PC, but I can't manage to transfer them. Thank you for your help. Jean-Luc

I have the same problem with a Blackberry, unable to copy all the contacts from the phone to the SIM card. The suggested methods don't work!!!!

I confirm. Everything is done to not leave Blackberry. Our contacts cannot be transferred to the SIM card all at once, but only ONE by ONE! 557 contacts, I have a month of work ahead of me!

Nothing beats an Android - and when it comes to transferring to BB, there's no solution. I even did a whole search myself and apparently they forgot this feature.
