Hello,
I am trying to open my EBP database and I can't find it.
When I try to open my latest backup, I click OPEN but I can't see the saved document (BAK file).
=> Could you please tell me how to do this?

PS: I’m really frustrated with EBP, this is the second problem I've had with them and each time they try to sell maintenance without even trying to understand what the problem is. Moreover, the customer service staff is really particularly unpleasant!
If I had to do it again, I would go to the competition!!!

A "bak" file can only be opened with the software that created it...
If you made your backup using EBP software, the "restore" function will use the BAK file to replace the active data...
Be careful, this may not be what you want to do at all, as restoring will overwrite the last entered data, and you will need to re-enter them.
The competition faces exactly the same problem... if there is no support contract, there is no phone assistance... that's where they win, not on software prices.

I'm not particularly familiar with EBP.
But I once had to retrieve a backup for a client in EBP my association and transfer it to another PC.
If I remember correctly, I had to retrieve an entire folder that was located in program files.... EBP..... there was a folder 15.0 and 16.0 that contained all the files necessary for the database.
I don't know if that can help you.

Thank you for your reply. It's precisely when I try to retrieve the file you mentioned that the software does not recognize it; it cannot find any items to open... even though the file is indeed in my documents as a "bak file."
